Exploring themes of isolation and manipulation, our story delves into the psychological complexities of individuals susceptible to conspiratorial thinking. To shed light on the real-world consequences of such influences, particularly on the vulnerable demographic of young males.
The film is a genre-blending medley. Straddling the genres of black comedy, social thriller and horror. Juxtaposing the strange world of personality cults against the genuine dilemmas of the average, social media-induced world of the Western, early adult. The protagonist, Mark, is a man in arrested development, and as many of us do, he retreats into the safety of handing himself over to others. Forever the adolescent, he offers a Peter Pan refusal to partake in a world outside his making.
